What you say makes lot of sense.You idea of capping reservations to 50% is reasonable.But how do we know whether the glass is half full or half empty? Regarding vote bank I fail to understand how that will be affected since every politician is saying the same thing and there is nothing to differenciate one from other unless someone wants 100% reservations which in any case is not feasible since it would require two thirds majority.
