Selective amnesia
by SSCD on May 15, 2007 05:49 PM

What were these so called "freedom of expression" proponents doing when:
- a fatwa was drawn against Salman Rushdie for writing "The Satanic Verses"
- a fatwa was drawn and a prize was put on the head of person who made a cartoon character out of Mohd. Paigambar, mind you the fatwa was drawn by somebody in India only.

Aren't both of above cases an axe on freedom of expression?

Just because Hindus are broad-minded and open to criticism doesn't mean that you can beat them left-center-right.

Enough is enough!!
