HOw can you forget that India has been ruled by the so-called secular party (Congress) for the best part. They had and numbers and the opportunity to help get rid of caste system in India. The Acts and laws were formulated by Congress, you secular party. If Congress were secular, why didn't they allow Uniform Civil Code? Congress has been the arch advocate of region based politics. It was Rajiv who upturned the Supreme Court order to appease Muslims. It was rajiv who opened the Ram Janam Bhoomi for Hindus. It was Congress dear. BBJ is just a recent entrant to this dirty politics of religion. Why is Congress bending our back to woe Muslims now? When it was the only party to rule India, it did nothing.
