The Pending Doom of Uttar Pradesh...
by Rahul Patel on May 09, 2007 06:27 AM

I am sure what UP really needs is a woman who:

1) Talks and acts like your typical village Don
2) Has never mentioned the word 'development' ever, I am pretty sure she has not heard it
3) Who will sell anything and everything, from BSP tickets to contest the elections to the Taj Mahal itself.
4) Who thinks putting forth a draconian "Upper Caste Abuse Law" is sensible
5) Who celebrates her birthday so austentatiously in ways that would put Jaya to shame, and builds palace-like homes for her family.
6) Who has taken the principles of Ambedkar and Kanshi Ram and cheapened them to gutter politics
7) Who believes that replacing thousands of qualified civil servants with people who are not, as her god-given right.
8) Who does not allow her party members to speak freely, EVER
9) Who treats her alliance partners like the dirt under her shoes.
10) Who spends years abusing certain groups of people, then decides she should befriend them.

If this is what the people of UP voted for, so be it. More statues and parks named after Ambedkar for next five years. Employment, agriculture, water, food, shelter...oh no no no, behenji does not understand those things.
