Why did the Sikhs support the British
by Kumar on May 10, 2007 03:58 AM

As I look at the photograph with the caption: "Image: The Secundra Bagh after the slaughter of 2,000 rebels by the 93rd Highlanders and the 4th Punjab Regiment", I wonder why did the Sikh fanatically support the British?
Is anyone aware of any literature giving a reason for this? Was it all about greed and lack of ethics?
