I agree with Shabeeb and the nameless one :), and disagree with Diamavane.

Freedom of Speech has limits. Otherwise, why do you think there are laws against hate speech? If there were none, the Nick Griffiths (head of the racist BNP in Britain), Bal Thackerays, and Abu Hamzas (the preacher of hate in the Finsbury Park Mosque, London) of the world would have a field day (they still are, but it could be worse!). If freedom of speech were construed to be as you defined it, one could never win a defamation case.

So my point is, you should be allowed to express what you feel like, but comments like 'Kat**s, leave India and go to Pakistan', 'Hinduism is an evil religion, you worship cows and donkeys', and others of this nature are entirely unacceptable and unpalatable.
