Although bribery is rampant, 99.99% of the police force in India will never kill or harm any innocent person. These officers did something that is done by the police as a matter of last resort. These criminals walk away scott free once they are brought to the court. Someone has to dispense justice when the court system will not. There will be a complete break down of law and order if police cannot engage in these encounters. What these officers did was in the best interest of the society.
