Commies have always fought for the cause of farmers. Now there are many people trying to fish in the troubled waters. West Bengal badly needs industries. It has a large pool of well educated people. They cannot farm. They need industries. Farmers are always the most exploited. Politicians suppress them to keep the farm produce price low. No body truly fight for farmers' cause.
