Resignation of CM
by Chandan Chattopadhyay on Mar 19, 2007 03:35 PM

No Buddhadeb should not resign. The actual reason for Nandigram Firing should be found out and the necessary actions shall be taken against culprits. This CM is trying to do some good for this state. Don't make him resign as West bengal will suffer many years if Buddhadeb goes away. Industrialist are coming to WB not because of CPM or congress but the genuine good intention of the present CM (which he exhibits). If he steps down, WB industrialization will get a major set back.

I agree that the land acquisition should be dealt with a more dignified way and the farmers are to be given proper price for the land and / or job in the new SEZ or industry whatever is coming up. Let Govt of WB give the free hand of direct selling the land to the Indutrialist so that they get better price and 1 per family sould be accomodated in the new indutry .
