What is the definition of economy ? Do you even know that ?
An economy is expressed in GDP which means the value of good and services manufactures within a country in a given year.
IT DOES NOT talk about quality of good and services, living standards, military strength, strength of currency, pollution and health status, etc.
Pakistan's economy is larger than Switzerland. Does that mean Pakistan has any leverage over distant Switzerland or is it a better country ?
Isreal's economy is smaller than Saudi Arabia's economy yet Isreal can whip Saudis very very hard.
Indonesia's economy is bigger than Australia YET Aussies can whip them hard thanks to stealth figher they get from the US.
BIGGER ECONOMY means nothing except paper bragging rights !
Hope you understand the anologies and have a fresh prospective.
