Even in 2004 election when we are told Brand-Buddha acted as a magic, Left Front would have barely got 155 seats, barely majority by 10 seats, of Congress & Trinamool unitedly faught the election.
Fact of the matter is, COngress is perpetuating Left Front Rule in WB, because it wants CPIM's help at the Center.
Without 3 allies, CPIM will barely win 100 seats, if opposition is united.
