You are not aware about the socio-political structure of WB. In three decade of rule all most 90% of the police personnel in lower level and PS level are communist party cadre. Communist govt. in WB captured total govt. machinery and every part of this machinery is occupied with Cadre of Communist parties. This the one of the reason why police behave so ruthlessly. There are also some reports that communist party gundas were involved in firing too. That is the reason behind this hate for police.
