States like MH and GJ had lot of infertile land and uneconomical land unlike the plains, so these people slogged and got industrialised and are now prosperous states. That doesnt mean the same applies to farm rich states, in fact, they are better off even today with the resources they have. India needs diverse development. We dont need to copy paste industries here and there. We need agriculture, water and forests as much as factories. Thin about it, middle class cannot afford cars on cash, they take loan from finance co. and buy car from their company, and then pay for fuel from their pump plus servicing, and get their product cost depriciated, and also work for these cos. This is biggest fraud in the name of development. Whats bad about farming and having a gud days' meal? I love Tata group but this time, they seem to have gone wrong.
