I agree, though "secularism" was not part of Indian Constitution. It was inserted during dark days of emergency when parliament was in abbeyance.

I think our reference to many Hindus taken to religious parties is wrong.

BJP is not a religious party. It never demands that The Gita be made national constitution, or enforsing teaching of Hindu religious books mandatory.

What it wants is, no appeasement for minorities, specially Muslims because the root reason for Indian partition was muslim special right.

As long as every Indian follow same law - BJP is fine
