Way to go for economic reform
by Deep B on Mar 12, 2007 08:35 PM

Everybody talks about industrialisation in WB. We should rerally appreciate the effrot by our chief minister. But so far nothing is proven about industrialisation in WB. State already aquired / planned to aquire land for industry. But so far not a single project is finished and running the show. Everybody is talking about plans. But there are incedents when state aquired the land and the project is now suspended and no body knows when it will be finished (e.g. a Motor Cycle plant in Uluberia by Salem).
In my suggestion lets go for industrialisation but not at a go. We should wait and watch for few good industries and then proceed.
I trust on our chief minister and few good ministers but I have no trust on commies. Just 10 month back they made protest at Kolkata airport for industrialisation (refer 'Go back American Capiatalist'). It can't be magic that they changed their view overnight.
