It is ridiculous to conduct State Elections in ONE state over a period of more than one month. There was a time when the elecctions in the entire country were conducted on a single day. General Elections for the entire country were conducted on March 16 1977 - on a single day.
The nation is going ahead and not backward! Election commission and politicians in India are making a mockery of Elections.
People atleast in this election should utilize to opportunity to elect a strong single political party to power and ensure that development is given prime importance.
