Stand up against corruption and crime
by Rohit Singh on Apr 17, 2007 07:13 AM

Kudos to Mr CV.
He gives us a lesson to us, the common man, to stand and speak out against the corrupt and criminal politicians. Every one (the people of UP) knows that whenever Mulayam comes to power, the criminals take over. There is no law and order. The people of all religions feel this but they do not speak against him. WHY?
1) They have their vested interests.
2) They are indifferent
3) They are afraid
4) They too are corrupt and criminal. YES. I am ashamed to say I am from UP where the common man him/herself is corrupt. I would like to state a small incident about this. During the last elections, I was talking to one of my uncles and casually asked him whom does he support and want to be in power. He told me that his heart calls for an X party but he will vote for Mulayam Singh. The reasons he gave:
During Malayam's regime there is no law and order. You can go to your office whenever you want. No body will fire you and wont ask you questions about being late. (He is a state employee).

He acknowleges that the law and order during Mulayam is the worst. But he prefers his easy life againt this. What sort of people are you? UP is doomed not because of the politicians but becuase of the people of UP who are fighting against each other in the name of religion, caste and other petty matters.

Grow up UP!
Stop voting in the name of religion and caste!
