nitin, i think it depends on what u define as patriotism. is it love for the country? if so i think every indian has it regardless of whether he is staying in india or the US. if staying back in india solely counts as being patriotic then i think ur grossly mistaken, in most cases people migrate because of a better life which unfortunately isn't available in india. trust me we love our country as much as u do and we have the same values as we do and unlike u we actually think about the country much more than u do which is probably the reason why there is so much influx of money from NRI's to charitable institutions. if we weren't patriotic i dont think we wudve cared for poor people in india wud we?? if india had better opportunities and lesser competetion do u think people would leave...i dont think so...not all people who migrate are motivated solely by money...it is wrong to categorize people that way...it is a factor though for sure...just a thought!
