RE:Tibet
by indiman on Jun 23, 2007 07:29 AM

boss when was Tibet part of India. Even the british never went beyond the MC Mahon line the present day Indo China boundary except Aksai Chin. Tibet was always independent and should be independent. The Chinese should be leaving Tibet alone. But if the Tibetans have no courage to fight then its their fault and Dalai Lamas fault. To me people like that should be enslaved. Peace doesent win anything. Gandhi wouldnt have been as effective if not for the extremists in the congress like lala lajpat rai, subhash chandra bose, bal gangadhar tilak, bipin chandra pal etc.. The british promoted Gandhi because they thought that way the extremists could be controlled and the moderate voice would be stronger. But then this turned Gandhi into a huge force. So in the end if not for the extrimsts the british would have packed off Gandhi long ago. Peace has to go hand in hand with violence/ tough stands. Indian freedom movement is a perfect example of this, but not many people realise that.
