Please correct Mr. Mars Illetracy and democracy can't co-exist. For a democratic system to work properly, there should be a certian percentage of people of society which should be educated and unfortunately in whole islamic region except one country (Malaysia), one will not find education. And this is the main reason that we are not having a true democratic governments in Islamic countries. For your correction, Malaysia is a Muslim country but yet they have a very good democratic system going on (so i have proved you wrong). I can name Indonesia also but it is not truly democratic yet.
