RE:Democracy in Pakistan will be a pipe dream
by Sanjeev Sharma on Jun 19, 2007 03:26 PM

As a client nation to China, USA and Saudi Arabs, Pakistan is not provided the option of democracy lest it start taking care of its own citizens and minding its own business. That would sijmply mean that Pakistan would not be useful in Chinease designs to contain India, American agenda of containing China, Russia, and India, and Saudi hopes of Islamic (nuclear) Bomb.

Futhermore, that would mean that Pakistan would not be able to fulfil its duties as an inernational condom to be used by its clients.

As an artifical construct (with only a seemingly hopeful basis of religion as national identity, which is inherently stupid, as in that case there would be only one islamic nation, not 50 ), its survial is ensured almost entirely by foreign powers for acheiving their own ends.
A true democracy means that Pakistan will be taken of the life support machine it has been on for long time.

Hope I am clear enough.
