Hi Sanjay , Conversion definetely took place during mughal period and not all was good but there were some other reasons as well apart from the mentioned by you. Like Issues within the society prevailing at that time .to this day there is conversion of dalits etc into chrstianity ...whats your take on that? Well exposure to a new system or culture caused by invaders or modern methodologies always have takers... The highest growing religion in west is ISLAM !! and fastest growing religioin is Bahai faith...so there are always takers for a newer ideologies..... Anyways the fate is same for all religions and ideologies the newer replaces the previous in some ways ....because of better relevent ideas...preavaling in them... It dont suits a hindu to tell the people of Islam that there religion is "Bullshit" and neither it suits to the muslims to tell others the same.... Hinduism itself claims to be open to all ideas in its essence yet the followers are so stubborn ...But isnt the same also possible with the Islam followers ...Yet the same phenomenon is in Muslims ...However only difference is only muslims are being tagged as terminators and terrorists globally because of Osamas take on the western societies.Can a single indidual like Osama represent all Muslims...or Do people really believe all muslims are Osamas ? well we have Osamas in all religions even in hinduism aswell...
