President of India should not be a weak candidate
by chiranjiv mandilwar on Jun 17, 2007 08:25 AM

As a nation we claim that we are rapidly progressing. To show this to the world we need to have people at the top of some calibre and who can represent India in good light.

I am afraid Mrs. Patil would fail to deliver anything expected of a president of India.
She will only be remembered as an ex president of India without anything to her credit and that is what she is lusting for.

I would not say she should rise to the occasion, but ruling party should realise that as a president of India they need to put a strong candidate who can represent our country on international stage in good light.

What Mrs Patil is capable of doin is just to become a loyal servant of Nehru family and she would prove nothing more that a rubber stamp.

I feel sorry for the country.
