politicians and religion
by krishna tallapragada on Jun 13, 2007 10:43 PM

For good politician, the caste system is important for election purpose, for wining the election. Even to contest in elections he only chooses to contest in the area where his caste is dominant, the person is selected for giving ticket by the party high command is just based on the caste. vayalar ravi's wife though married to hindu but she keeps her religion and not accepted hindism. can anyone beieve she taught his children to pray to hindu gods, while herself praying to different god. The son who wants the head of tantri because he questioned his religion based on his mother's religion beleifs. if the vayalar's son have any respect to the god or on traditions of the temple, he could not have questioned the tantri. He wants the caste of his father, but he expects the tantri not to practice the traditions. whether anyone likes or not caste system is part and parcel of the hinduism. whether it is good or bad practice is not the question. when politicians use the caste card in democracy, why not they accept the same caste practice in the temple traditions. as politicians they go to church and also to masjid. for the politician it is no difference. but the same caste system is practiced by the church by the converted christians. if the priest of the temple final authority in temple practices, why the board have to regret and why they want to snatch the authority from the priest to satisfy the ego of a politician. why the government show interst in running the temple and want
