Who should be the President of India
by Dipal Choudhury on Jun 13, 2007 09:29 AM

Dr Kalam has indeed raise the expectations of common Indian citizens by his acts. We expect the President to be a non political entity who can clearly above board, lead and serve as First Citizen. Clearly, indications are that this is not the case going to happen.
The candidates may be called for an open debate about their vision, way of thinking and idea of service to nation before the elections held.
The time is fast changing in the world and there is a need for change. The National parties must acknowledge the fact that common man detaste politics and putting a Rubber Stamp as a President of India should be the last step to take.
