Now a days, I am refraining from blogging on politics as these kicks up lots of dust, But the result of UP elections have agitated me so much that I am not able to even wait, less my anger subsides and I decide not to blog.
What the result mean for me %u2013 It reinforces my belief that we Indians are not fit for democracy. Is this a strong statement? May be but I think it%u2019s true.
The result shows Mayavathi gets majority in the UP election. The people of UP overwhelmingly gave their verdict %u2013 they want Mayavathi as their chief minister. Now, for what they have voted her?
That%u2019s a real big question. BSP did not publish any party agenda (that brings up the question, whether there exist a party at all? This is just an one woman show), so nobody really knows basically what to expect from her govt. Well actually what I meant that she did not go to the voters with any agenda. So we should surmise that the voters voted her to power not for her party%u2019s agenda, plan or program, but only for her.
Let me try to organize the agenda she should have from her utterances and previous records.
1) In her last avatar she has got a diamond-studded crown, so this time she should expect to get more diamonds to adorn her whole body.
2) From every platform she has declared that she will put Mulayam and Amar Singh behind bars, so we should expect lots of litigations against the SP leaders.
Well frankly speaking I am not able to think anythin
