Raja!

How much we long for such "reasonable" rulers, who are concerned about social order and welfare rather than private gains? Kerala was indeed fortunate to have such rulers, as also the kings of Travancore.
Communism was good to establish an equitable society and indeed till around 70's they had a splendid record in Kerala. But it ought to have been disbanded after that. (Congress? It should have been disbanded after Independence itself, as Mahatma had wanted)
Democracy is good, but looking at how it is going; I have a feeling those Travancore kings would be able to deliver what is promised in the Constitution, rather than the present crop.
