1. Casteism is inherent in any soceity. You cannot remove it. It is impossible. In so called developed nations casteism still prevails. You have the administrative class, working blue-collar class, intelligent class and business class. Therefore it is not the Brahmins who created it. I am quoting this from BG: Chapter 4: "Chatur Varnam Maya Sristam..."

2. Tantri is not making up rules. He is following them. And he says he will obey any rules and he will enforce them.

3. Yes, it is sadly true that casteism defeats the purpose of what it was actually for. Veda Vyasar, the author of Baghavad Gita among other works is actually the son of a fisherwoman who attained Brahman hood. Legend has it that he is Shri Baghavan Krishna himself.
4. Not true.
5. Blame people not the system. The system is picture perfect.
6. Yes. What are you and me and anyone else gonna do about it?
