Criticism is well tolerated rather encouraged in Hindu religion and good suggestions are accepted and implemented. So it is just a matter of time the practice of temple purification will disappear. Untouchability in any form should be condemned. The temple priests should desist from discrimination and concentrate on the service of God. Any society based on religious edicts will create hatred and unrest. It will lead to exploitation as we see in many countries. Religion is opium. It is also poison.
