I think our religion is very scientific and rational.Our rigveda and all the books are rational.Even ramayana and mahabharata are referred to as Mahakavyas and not as poorvapuranas.Thats the difference between hindusim and the rest.We are built on rationality.Even ram is not god in valmiki ramayana,he became god later.
Masala is full in jesus story for example.A man being nailed to death is hardly a story.I would have had trouble in writing screenscript for that,forget religion
