Does adult language violate orkut policy?
by mitanshu garg on Jun 09, 2007 11:11 AM

We understand that certain profiles or communities may use language that contains profanity, sexually graphic content, or words that may be deemed inappropriate. orkut.com is a community for adults and we do not regard adult language as abuse. You can choose to leave communities that you find offensive, delete scraps that you don't approve of, or add offensive profiles to your "ignore list."

orkut.com does, however, have a strict policy against hate speech and threatening language. If you see discussions that involve racism or hatred, that instruct or encourage illegal activity, or that directly threaten violence to an individual or group, please use the "Report Abuse" page to flag these profiles or communities. We will investigate these reports and take appropriate action.
