Getting off lightly, all across

If the official is indeed guilty of bending the law and allowing the high & mighty to get their way irrespective of the law, why has he been merely transferred & not suspended pending a detailed investigation?
Mr. Amitabh (apparently in his efforts to pass himself off as a genuine farmer Mr. Amitabh H. Srivastava aka Bachchan registered under this name) has now dragged the matter to the High Court and if he loses there he will surely hotfoot it to the Supreme Court. Knowing the way the legal process can be derailed & stymied specially by the influential & the powerful, it will be years before an eventual verdict is handed out. Meanwhile Mr. Srivastava (aka Bachchan alias Amitabh) will arrive at a suitable accommodation with Ms. Mayawati, contribute generously to her re-election war chest and the case will be watered down suitably by the Government & the prosecution and die an unheralded death.
All this while Mrs. Jaya Srivastava (aka Jaya Bachchan) continues to enjoy all the perks of a MP despite having wilfully suppressed information while standing for the office. Also Mr. Srivastava senior (euphemistically known as the Big B by some sections of the adoring & bought-out media) will continue to enjoy the acres of farmland he acquired subsequently in Maharashtra under patently false premises and build fancied rural palaces there for the genuine farmers from near and far to come and gawk at.
Mr. Amitabh the farmer will meanwhile use the latest techniques in audio enhancement &
