Temple Entry
by seshadri santhanam on Jun 07, 2007 09:44 AM

Why dont people think of the yeoman service rendered by Saint Ramanuja when as a boy he took teachings from Kanchipurna(a Dalit) who new nothing other than chanting Lord Varadaraja. Why doesn't Vayalar Ravi give up going to these kinds of temples and go on a pilgrimage to those temples where there are no restrictions for human beings. Even today there has been a change in the mindset amongst the temple authorities of Tirupathi where the Utsavamoorthy has come down to visit a Dalit Hamlet nearby Tirupati. To downgrade totally Hindu faith is wrong among you so called Secularist. It is because of Hinduisam that there is a way of life. Whether you a practising Hindu or not that doesn't matter.

Even raising the collar I can say it is because of a toleranmce in the Hindu society that there is a Democratic way in our country.
Hinduism is a experiment. It is not confined to a codified structure. Each Hindu has his/her own way of life.
