What I think about Climate Change; Might not be true !
by Sudeep M on Jun 06, 2007 06:30 PM

World has changed a lot in the past decade due to information revolution. So, industrialisation and better transportaion facilities are bound to reach the lesser and least developed regions. If this happens, they all are going to get rich. So, the rich nations today, has put forward the agenda of climate change as one of the wepons to force lesser developed countries to restrict industrialisation. Have to mention here, that this is not the only wepon they have. I agree that there are scintific evidences, but most of the researches are funded by the organisations who wants to get the evidence for a possible catastrophic climate change. I won't say that this is all purposeful, but there is a subconsious effort. If you look at the countries with highest per capita carbon emission (even avoiding the big bro US) they do very little to tackle it. Most of the western european countries have a very good public transportaion infrastructure. But usage is less due to high price, and if they brought legislation to slash these prices, they can reduce the per capita CO2 emission at least by half. But in any case, this is just a caveat, I leave this for you to think
