You said you want to eliminate bad practices from Hinduism.

If you want to eliminate caste system, that is fine. That is not really a part of Hindu religion and it is not sanctioned by our scriptures.

But, please do not try to change temple customs. They are not bad practices. A temple is not a building in which a stone is garlanded and worshipped. There is a lot more to it.

No entry for non-Hindus. In fact, I feel only those Hindus who really follow Hindu customs must be allowed. Only those who read Gita and Upanishads or do Yoga, Pranayama and Dhyaana must be allowed. What id the use of thousands of people looking at a stone and garlanding it? A temple can not help someone, if he is not pious and does not make at least some effort to understand scriptures.
