RE:I am Hindu
by Dheeraj Akula on Jun 06, 2007 12:16 PM

Hinduism does not consider one person as "the only begotten son of God".

Hinduism considers everyone to be divine. "Amrutasya putrah" - everyone is a sone of the divine. Infact everyone is divine.

"purnam adham purnam idham"
"purnaath purnam udachyathe"
"purnasya purnamdhaaya purnamevaavasishyathe"

That is Infinite (God), this is infinite
Infinity came out of infinity.
When you take out infinity from infinity, what is left behind is also infinity.

which means ...

Everything came out of God.
What comes out of God is also God.
What is left behind is also God
In short, everything is God.

We don't have "the only begotten son of God" and "the last messenger from God" in our religion.
