It nice to see very progressive minded people discussing about entry into Guruvayoor temple. Before we permit entry let us look into few factors.
1. Does the govt. have moral right to interfere in religious practice of a particular commuity. If so will the Govt. take such a stand when it comes to minority community. We have seen many times the Govt. ducking off from the issues.
2. I personaly feel for Mr. Yesudas and Mr. Ravi the matter has become more of ego problem rather than a questionn of religious acceptance. Because these people if permitted in certainly wont stand in a queue they will just barge in through VIP gates while the ordinary people stand. So it is very common for ordiary people like me who come from far flung places to just stand outside and worship and go because of the heavy rush.
3. why doesnt the govt. abolish entry though vip gates while the ordinary people stand so much in for hour carrying small kids. Please save Guruvayoor dont make it a place like other temple where the rich and mighty have the first appointment with the Almighty.
