Mr Ravi has categorised the happenings in Guruvayur temple as 'brahminical arrogance'. However, has he ever stopped for one minute to think whether it was a show of HIS OWN ARROGANCE or not....!!! The fact of the case was as follows: 1. Mr Ravi marries a christian lady and says that she followed hindu principles at home. He does not say whether she has ever prayed in the church after the marriage. Mr Ravi makes the most of his inter caste marriage in his younger days and derrives the most political mileage of such marriage alliance and becomes a front ranking leader- fights elections and even beomes minister in the state government. His children have the best of both worlds and grow up with the patronage of the church leaders and also the indirect blessings of the hindus. Now, his daughter in law wants the' Choru oonu ' of their son to be held in Guruvayur. Why not..? says, the father in law....after all he is a big shot in his state. And he goes and conducts the ceremony inside the Temple although it is clearly stated that "only Hindus are allowed inside the temple". Mr Ravi goes inside but his entourage also go in - taking for granted that THEY ARE ALL HINDUS - WHILE THEY ARE NOT. The temple Tantri in the face of such a powerful politician DID NOT OBJECT to their entry but did the next best alternative.
