He may be called the father of the words "sustainable developemnt".He has been one one of the earliest to think of energy mix beyond petroleum and worked for it at TERI and stilla works for it. Though his organization under UN gets it but the organization has performed well under his leadership. Varoius scientists and professors get prizes.
