All of you have heard about proxy war. All of you have also been told that Pakistan is responsible for it. Dig a bit deeper, try to put pieces together and you would know it was American proxy war for thirty years against India to force her to sign NPT and become another vassal state. Yes, stupid Pakistani army generals are/were more than willing but they still are mere pawns. Indian nuclear tests were a warning that India would not take it lying down any more. US has started respecting India only after India has shown some guts. If India gives her strenth away and they would treat her like dirt.
It would not be out of place to repeat it once again. US needs India more than India needs US. India needs to have confidence in herself. India doesn't want any land or impose its culture on anyone. No one should fear india except those who want to cause us harm. India can be a great moderating influence in Asia. US needs India badly. US wants to disentangle themselves from Pakistan and India can help. Stick to parameters of the Bush-Singh deal signed in 2005. That deal was signed after several months of negotiations. That was end of the give and take not the point where US would start asking for more concessions.
