In China, they shoot for treason In Saudi, they hang in the middle of the town for treason. Even in the US, the minimum prison term for treason is 30 years to life (same as a murder). In India, 6 years for ties with terrorists and hiding illegal firearms bought/gifted from the likes of Dawood and Memon ... 6 years, that's all.
