BTW, if one of those gangsters called you, how would you handle it? Remember that actors etc are also easy target for extortion gangs so maybe they just wanted to maintain some kind of contact with them if possible to stay out of trouble. I remember that in 90s, these gangs and their extortion used to be a big issue.
