The media seems to have gone into a overdrive and they literally hang on to his words, even reporting that he slept, woke up, smiled etc. This is ridiculous. Don't they have anything else to cover? Good of the Aussies to let him go when they realised that there was no sufficient evidence. After 9/11, all Muslims are suspect in the eyes of the West. No wonder they are paranoid about Muslims in general. Wish the PM would give the same anxiious consideration to other pressing matters as he did to Haneef's case.
