And all this would have been avoided if the three murderers were arrested in the first place and useless karunanidhi had not done what he did. Of course DMK lost all their seats in the next election except karunanidhi winning narrowly i think. There were almost 150 people killed in both sides more hindus than muslims, because unlike in Gujarat in Tamilnadu the government blatantly sided against the hindus and put lots of pressure on coimbatore police. RSS never had a base in tamilnadu and tamilians have always kept out of RSS fold mostly and after this event BJP consistently started winning seats in coimbatore lok sabha and assembly. This is the lesson we take from this I guess.
