Excellent Finding. Firstly Arabs did'nt rule spain for 800 years. They ruled all of Iberia for about 350 yrs. Only Granada region they ruled for about 800 yrs.
Now the coptic Xtians are not Arabs . They are descendants of pre-islamic Egyptian Christians. They somehow survived Arab rule. Thats the truth. India; muslims ruled only for 600 years.
