Restriction is good when it has some rational behind and given by the Absolute Supreme which hold good irrespective of 3 Aspects - TIME , PLACE and CIRCUMSTANCE !
Islamic restrictions are fake, since they are man made. They are very clearly designed to give pleasure to Men. Anything man-made is affected with false-ego/lust/greed/short-sightedness/lack rationality and millions of mis-traits.
