Nuclear Energy SEZ
by Guru HM on Jul 28, 2007 01:39 AM

Well, why any oone should listen to USA ? Aren't we free ... Didn't we get fredom from British, now that we are appeasing another Market Invader ?
We could have bargained a lot if our BARC guys had done some thing spectacular, unfortunatly nothing ! Now the time is running out, there is no water in reservoirs, rain is going to be either too much or tool less, Indian coal is inferior, with more global warming and restrictions, it will become difficult to burn them, other exotic energy types (solar, wind, hydrogen ..ect) need lot of research and investments and if it is entrusted to another BARC type organisation we can expect another 50 years of silence from them...also our opulation is huge and these exotics will cost too much...

Even though Nuclear Energy is not very safe, but India has isolated islands, such as andaman, and Lakshadweep, make them as Nuclear SEZs and even if we loose them due to disaster or sabotage, probably it can be contained....Any thoughts from any one ...???
