123Nuclear Agreement
by Badri N Raizada on Jul 28, 2007 09:58 AM

I fully endorse Dr AN Prasad's concerns for
India's long term national and defence interests which seem to be ignored as has been the case in the past. Using ambiguity or ambivalence to mask the reality is no substitute to clarity and indeed counter productive.Look at all the past agreements:Simla Agreement,we have yet to resolve the kashmir dispute despite loosing heavily on manpower and finance; Panch Sheel and Agreements with China accepting Chinese Soveriegnty over Tibet has brought the "Dragon" to our borders and indeed allowed it to completely encirle us creating disturbances on our borders and turning border states hostile.Trying to hoodwink US through use of clever language will NEVER pay. In fact it is really meant to hoodwink our own people as has been done in the past. We must oppose the deal which restricts our right to develop as a nucleaur State both for energy and weapons as well as impinges on our Independence and freedom.
