This so called deal is going to die a natural death. The US congress is not going act favorably. The Bush adminstration will be over in 2008. The Indian Parliament will come in the way. If Democrats win in 2008, there won't be any interest (there will be other priorities for them, like pull out from Iraq and dealing with the mess that will create).
Indian industry and citizens will continue to suffer from power shortage. It is same old story from 1947......
