With an electorate of one milion and a population of about one and a half milion the number of 40 constituencies is very high.Earlier when Goa was a union teritory the number of assembly seats was just 30 and there was stability.With statehood the delimitation commisssion unfortunately changed the number to 40,and this change gave rise to instability and there has been as many Govts in as many years.A revert back to the earlier 30 seats needed,hope the Mandarins are listening.
